Sorry I've been away so long. We've had 2 IUI cycles with Follistim and an HCG trigger shot. Followed by a Follistim only cycle due to the fact that we were missinformed about the cost of an IUI cycle. And finally a month off due to the fact that one ovary still had a large cyst leftover from my last Follistim cycle.We hope to start another Follistim cycle soon, well, that is of course if I'm not

My friend Margaret told me dieting without exercising is like hopping around on one foot. The same for exercising without dieting. (When I say "diet" I mean what you eat, not the starving yourself kind.) She said in order to walk straight ahead you need to use both feet, your diet foot and your exercise foot.

Just because a patient doesn't have "unsightly facial hair" does not mean they do not have PCOS.If you have an overweight patient with infertility, please refer them to a reproductive endocrinologist as soon as possible so they can receive proper care.
